Default Hailing from San Antonio, hello all!

Hey everybody, just saying hi. I build & restore vintage Mustangs for a living, and recently picked up my first Jeep, a '92 Cherokee 4L/4x4. Been wanting one for awhile, something to take the kiddos out camping and off-roading in.

Figured this would be a good place to bounce ideas with others!

Nice, knowing that it's a Texas jeep, rust should be of little worries. Haha!

Definitely gonna ditch the sad little Jeep bumpers at some point. I'm a pretty good metal fab, will probably design my own. Nothing crazy, something that follows the body but with a winch mount and a small skid plate.

Not looking to go full-on rock crawler, and am beyond impressed with what this beast is capable of even in its current trim. Will trim the wheel wells back later to clear some 31s on black steels, get a bit more ground clearance, and obviously sway bar disconnects are in her future.

A lift will happen eventually as well, though probably a small one. First things first, I want to find the limits of what she can do with her current setup... Which seems like it may take a bit more effort than I'd thought.

Nice! That's how a jeep should always look.
