Default Greetings from the UK!

Hi there,
I've been waiting a few years now to join the forum, and now that I finally have, I can interact with you guys! I don't personally own an XJ myself, although my dad has owned 2000 XJ Orvis for a few years now. As a result, I've been attempting to make a mod adding all types of XJ and MJ into BeamNG.drive since 2017, and I'm currently working on a completely new version, using 3D photogrammetry software and an Xbox 360 Kinect as a 3D scanner!

My progress on that has so far been only available on the BeamNG forums (see here), however I plan on making a separate thread on here, so that people who'd like to help out can do so more easily.

Here is the Jeep in question. My dad always wonders what Americans think of it, because of how it's an XJ in the UK, in a trim the US never got (apart from on the ZJ). It's currently in need of some new stock-height rear springs, but sourcing some in the UK is proving a challenge.

Looking forward to share its story on here!
Thanks,
George

Welcome.
I love to look at the Export models. See differences from US versions.
Big fan of the Orvis to a certain extent.
Couple nit picky things I wish they did though.
Wish the louvers weren't stick ons.
And they really should have made it an option to have heated seats in them too. If it was I have never seen one.
And that rear spoiler IMO just makes the Jeep.
So much so that I incorporated a couple things from them into my '00.
Reproduction of the spoiler.

And a couple guys on here took the louvers off the 1998 Grand Cherokee with the 5.9 and put them in their Jeeps.
Loved the look so had to have it. Resembles the Orvis but they are functional with drip trays.

Oh and while I wished they didn't change over to the cheesy tarp like cargo cover and kept the retractable one
I love the black leather one with the tire cover that you guys use over there.
