Hello!
I have always thought Cherokees were cool. I finally decided it was time to add an all around, camping, off roading, exploring vehicle to my stable.
After doing my homework from great sites like this, I set out to find a 91-99 4 door, 4X4 with a manual trans.
I found this one owner '96 about 70 miles from me. I haggled down to $2300 and drove it home.
160k miles. runs great. well cared for. body/interior is in very good condition. no rust or accidents.

The plan: right now I want to do some cleaning and detailing, valve cover gasket leak, ex.manifold crack replacement, as well as the water pump, thermostat, belts hoses and change all fluids just for piece of mind.
I have searched around and decided a 3" coil spring/leaf pack lift with some 31s will suite me fine. I discovered I have the chry 8.25 in the rear.
I will see what kind of further upgrades i need as time goes by.
I look forward to having fun with my first build up and meeting new people here.
Yes, I know the color is unusual. Im not sure if I love it or hate it.
