Just picked up my 96 4.0 5 speed the other day. I love it.

She's not perfect but she's exactly what I wanted.
Already got stuck and pulled out plenty of folks. Had a blast already can't wait to start modifying her.

nice rig. get those tires swapped! although ...looks like you made it through some gunk with those racing slicks


Lots of new designs that rate better than the old BFGs now too (for less)


Then again, my old GC had only Kumho KR21s, all season tires and I used to be able to make through thick brush, moderate mud, and even uphill at a spot that had years of pine needles built up no problem.

 

Soooooo.... Is there a 302 in that Mazda?

The 302 is sitting in the garage waiting for the little girl. Funds are getting saved for it now though.

I plan on getting better tires as soon as the nickel and dime things are all fixed.
