Default delaware (pics included)

Got sister-in-law's 2000 cherokee sport as a new DD for the wife. ive already made all hinges and handle buttons functional again (is re-lubricating these things REALLY that difficult? yeesh), replaced the hatch lifts because they were completely useless, and replaced the key fob batteries (so now THEY work again too)

it has over 150k miles on it, but the I6 is still strong. im loving that motor

where can i host image for free

Immediate future plans still involve making it like-new/operational again including, but not limitted to; speakers, headlights, trans fluid, diff fluid, and possibly brakes all around (havent checked them thoroughly yet). ive yet to look underneath her so im not sure what i will find. my plan was also to do a full seafoaming in the fuel, induction, and crankcase, but im still on the fence with that one

other than upkeep im hoping for a new paint job sometime in the future

Im hoping as a new daily driver its going to get somewhere in the upper teens as far as mileage. its not much, and its certainly nothing like any other car that would be better suited as a DD, but the price was right and its replacing her 2012 ram 3500. that truck gets 13mpg, the car i drive isnt really eco-friendly either. its a mazdaspeed3 and i get around 22mpg

but....every chance i get i take the vulcan900 out, which i get 45+ mpg

Besides the bike i guess we are a gas-guzzling couple of ppl. but because we camp we need the big truck (5th wheel in near future). because i like to go fast i have a turbo car. and because she has a thing for jeeps, we now have a jeep

my first car was a 94 grand cherokee with the 5.2, and she used to have a wrangler (2000-ish) with the I6 in yellow that she will forever miss, so obviously we were destined to get another

thanks for reading

Sounds like you have a good plan, and some nice rides.
