Former YJ owner, I've crossed over to the XJ after someone blew a stop sign and totaled my YJ.

Picked up a 99 XJ about 8months ago. It was clean and stock. So far a 3" OME lift with 32" duratracs on TJ Rubicon wheels. Some Carhart seat covers and weather tech mats. Want this thing to stay semi stock looking. Going to pull the exterior molding, black monstaline from the middle door line down, rear tire carrier and that's about it. Just a daily / beach truck. Hope to build another YJ soon.

I work on tug boats mainly NY harbor but used to work offshore. Everywhere from Texas to Maine. I live on Long Island NY, my XJ is my surf-mobile so don't expect this to be a crawler. I only drive about 5k miles per year.

Here are some pics

Thank you. Yeah old man XJ. Love finding vehicles like that.

As for the YJ flip. We both walked away without a scratch. Idiot in the BMW blew a stop sign.

They have tightened up since these photos. I took these pics right after I installed them without sitting in them. After some time in the seat, I pulled everything tighter.
