Hello all,
I'm Tina. I have a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Despite all the pressure to get rid of TJ (The Jeep) I hang on. I really like the car. It's distinctive, doesn't look like all the other vehicles on the road.
Quarter million miles and it still starts, runs and drives like a dream. Except last week. I was driving home from a seminar when I heard a gawd-awful clunk as I passed a small bump on the highway. "Yikes, that's a new sounds."
Stopped at a light I heard more odd/new noises.
First self-diagnosis was that it was the right front universal joint. Then, well... maybe no.. maybe something gone afoul in the transfer case.
I bring it into my workplace where they fix what ails me. (It was part of my compensation package.)
Know what it was?.......
broken motor mount bolts.
After much consternation, it was fixed. Onward!
I love my Jeep.
