Colorado Springs Checking in
I thought it was time to post here since I've gotten so much information from the site. My partner and bought a 1999 XJ Classic with 169,000 miles.
This site is great for information! Based on help from this site we've bypassed the power window lockout issue, fixed the center console wiggle (what a poorly designed plastic bracket), and replaced the brake shoes.
With the help of the Haynes we've replaced every single fluid/oil in the Jeep.
Coolant, oil, transmission, transfer case, both differentials, power steering.
We live in Colorado Springs and hope to meet other XJ'ers for a few rides sometime. Also if you have a motorcycle we are down for a motorcycle ride also.

I remember when we got our Jeep it was a Heep! Slowly it is coming back to life and starting to be a respectable little Jeep. That is until next week when something breaks and it becomes a Heep again!

CO Springs? Awesome! I'm in Highlands Ranch, but occasionally head down to Fowler for the family ranch for hunting and soon for some riding!!!
