Hey guys just stopping in to say hi! Just got my first Jeep this weekend, its a 2001 Cherokee Classic in Silverstone Metallic. Its got a very healthy 166k on it and unfortunately it is an auto, I was really hoping for a 5 speed.

Just wanted to stop in and say hello and if you're in the area lmk!!!

Thanks for the welcome guys, as for right now I'm back and forth between the Joliet area and Oak Park. I work out in Wood Dale and hope to be moving as far west from the city as possible. Thanks for the link to the IL section, I poke around in there now.

Anyone wanna help me with what suspension is on my XJ? To me it looks stock but the tires that were on it when I bought it were 245/75/16s and I thought for sure I would rub with a tire that size.

Thanks!! Yeah just your basic stuff, new front and rear bumper with some bushwacker fender flares, 3-3.5" lift, and some 31's.
