I've always wanted a Jeep, I've decided this is the year. I've settled on an XJ when I sell my current DD. Been checking on Craigslist, and it looks like I should be able to get enough out of my hoopty to get a decent 3inch/31's not rusty Cherokee (~$2000) I'm a mechanic by trade, so hope to get something that needs a little love, but still drivable.
I've been reading on this forum and learning a lot for about 2 weeks. I wondered what are the things to look out for on these trucks. Obviously frame damage and rusty floor pans, but any other nasty's someone could try to mask to bail out of a huge repair?
Thanks in advance!
