Figured I'd say hi and thanx since I have been using your forums to research the Cherokee. I'm a long time Toyota guy with the occassional Wrangler along the way. Gettin pretty tough to find decent first gen Toyotas and there is no decent aftermarket for the 80 series LandCruisers. All these years I had overlooked the Cherokee, turns out they have many of the features I'm after, solid axles, inline engine, decent mileage, decent pricing, long lifespan and a lot of aftermarket support. I found a good deal on a 2000 Sport, I wanted a manual transmission but we can't have it all and still get it cheap ;-) This will be a DD and expedition rig so no radical changes until I break it.
