Youngest turns 16 in March, I've been looking on and off for a while for a car for her, dang the market is crazy now. I really wanted a 100 series Landcruiser / LX470 for 'her' but wasn't having much luck, I'll keep looking though

Found an 05 GC Laredo about 90 minutes from home,

One owner, elderly lady, has been garaged and parked for about the last 6 years, tags expired in 2016, last oil change sticker said it was due in 01/2015 at 43K, has a stack of previous insurance cards and registration paperwork but no maintenance records.

Has new Toyo M&S on it, new battery in it, exterior is in very nice shape, interior needs a deep detail/steam clean, engine is super clean, belts/hoses look new, underside is clean, doubt it ever got dirty. Will need new rear lift gate struts for sure. Maybe a new head unit for her actual birthday.

Off to DMV for paperwork, then grab oil/filters, get the alignment checked, then spend time reading here.

Welcome! I want to know what you are going to do (or have done) to get it running. I'm currently looking at a vehicle that has also sat for the last 6 years, not garaged though, that I will be posting very soon.
