Can't wait to return to XJ life
Greetings everyone. I am new to the forums and wanted to say hello.
I moved to Vegas 4 or so years ago and had to leave my XJs back in Florida. I finally got the wife to go on some trails in my other truck and with friends. She loved it, and now I have the OK to get a new to me XJ and build a streetable trail ride.
For now, I am doing research and waiting on tax return and the right XJ to come available. Have to build a bit different for trails than the mud that I am used to building for.
I posted in the Vegas area of the forums with this as well. I hope to learn a lot and meet some great people.
I have owned 6 different XJs over the years and love these rigs.

My wife's friend just asked if I would find her an XJ like our 98, my wife took her up to her mom's cabin and she said it handles better than her husbands Exterra on the snowy terrain. Got to love the XJ!

Thanks for the link. I will have to play with the search parameters. It show less than my local CL with nearby areas included.
I am looking for 91-95 4 door Cherokee 4x4, 4.0L, automatic, with power windows and locks. Trying to get as stock as possible so I have a cleaner starting slate for my build. I would rather not go newer than 95. I prefer the older body style but after the renix 4.0.
I know a lot of people say to avoid the power windows. I prefer to ride windows open 85% of the time and it's a huge pain to do that with manual windows. I know about how the wires in the door jamb can break and cause many issues. I have always just moved the main door switch panel into the space under the clock in the dash. That eliminates most of the wire into the door.
