Well I'm David. 29. Veteran of the Army and the Iraq war. This isn't my first Jeep though.
My late beloved wife had a 99 CJ straight 6 that I put alot of time and money into and I fell inlove with it. Unfortunately I got into a fight with a tree and lost horrible.
Later I traded an 07 Honda that I paid cash on the spot for and got an 03 CJ 4.7 V8 4x4 and I absolutely love my Jeep.
I've dumped well over 2k into her replacing the entire cooling system and every major component to keep my Jeep running. I got it at 96k and it sits roughly at 156k right now. I've ran two different stereos in it, 1st was a full Rockford Comp system that just rattled my poor Jeep to pieces, where I spent over 6 hours tightening a bunch of different bolts. Now I just have a Kenwood Excelons all the way around with a Pioneer 12 in the back for a little bump running all of a Rockford Power 400 watt amp.
I'll try to get some pics of my Jeep posted on here. I've some unscheduled tranny work to get done tomorrow so it could be the perfect photo op.
I've had the exhaust modified and it's pretty loud too. Loud for a Jeep. Installed a K&N cold air intake with a poweraide throttle body spacer and some spyder custom tail lights.
I've put some thought into doing maybe a 3 in. lift but I'm still unsure about it. I've also got an Autopage remote start alarm wired in with the stock alarm system that definetly helps with those cold morning here in Colorado.
I've had my Jeep a little over 2 years that I can remember and well I wouldn't want any other vehicle out there. It runs nicely and she can definetly sling some mud and pull some serious weight when I need it.
Anyways, sorry for the seriously late intro..I'll try to get some photos of my Jeep on here ASAP.
