Default Atlanta Cherokee

Have a 1998 Cherokee Classic...has been in the family its whole life with 177,xxx miles. Everyday driver, but was in a dustup with a cabbie a few weeks ago. Jeep still runs fine but with minor radiator leak and front end damage.

I'm determining whether to fix or sell. Any thoughts?

How much do you want for it?

$2500. My mechanic is interested in buying it, but I'm trying to figure out price. NADA is $3500 in great condition. I know that an insurance claim will likely total it out and I want to keep the title clean.

Do I sell it and be done with it, pay to have it fixed, etc...that's what I'm trying to decide.

Only you know man. I wont ever sell mine and would advise you to do the same but your situation is probably alot different than mine. radiator is a cheap fix if you do it yourself. Your mechanic will probably throw a rad in it really quick and sell it for a profit.

Welcome to the forum! Hopefully you keep it and stick around!

Thanks for the input. Yeah, don't have the place or patience to work on it at this point. Need another everyday driver...love the Jeep and its been good, but trying to make most practical decision.
