Another Newb!!
Greetings!!! I would take this moment to say hello and Thanks you all!!!! I'm currently in the process of picking up an 85 XJ. Don't know much about it but through this site I'm learning a lot. And still have much more to learn thanks to everyone here. As of now, the new ride needs a new trans so I'll be looking for somewhere to take care of that. Any suggestion in S. Cal would be appreciated. Other than that, reading some threads and looking at pics truely inspired me to get this project going.
My immediate spend besides the trans would be at least a 4.5" lift and hopefully 31-33s. Still looking at other pics and researching prices. I don't forsee any serious off roading/crawling. Just want to experience the trails for now. But what do I know. For now, hello and thank you!

Greetings from a fellow newbie.
Sounds similar to myself, as I'm trying to look into an XJ as well. Don't have one in particular yet but I do know that I want to get one that might perhaps be used for mild to moderate trails.... at least thats the idea for now hehe. Anyways though a greetings once again.
