Hello everyone! Been creeping around on this site for a little bit now, figured its time to say hi. I purchased a 1999 XJ in April. I purchased it from a fleet vehicle lot. It has 140,000km, auto, manual locks/windows, dark grey interior, steel wheels, factory skidplates. It was owned by the Canadian gov't since new and has been maintained extremely well! (tape on all filters and pieces showing date of replacement). No rust minus some rock chips, and a small dent on passenger rear door.
This is my DD and will start with taking it out on camping trips, and hopefully some local 4x4 clubs beginner runs so I can get to know my vehicle better.
I just finished a stealth subwoofer box in the rear cubby storage area and have plans for building a EMT conduit roof rack, some custom bumpers with recovery points, getting some new rims/tires, and some tint. The last picture shows a quick photoshop of my goals with this XJ.
Thank you to everyone for the great information and advice on this site.
I look forward to interacting more and more.

Welcome from Wisconsin. Nice XJ! Yes it nice to have the cargo space back. That's where i put my sub also. I also have 6X9's in the rear hatch.
Cool, didn't know the 99s came with those wheels. (ECCO ones on mine)
