95 stock 2 door in MD and want to play
My dad gave me a green 1995 Cherokee 2 door 4L 5spd with 134,000 miles. I was going to sell it, but I have decided to keep for a extra 4 wheel drive vehicle and toy since it will only cost me an extra $18 a month for insurance. I have always had cars and by DD is a 2009 Scion xB, so I don't have any wheeling experience. The truck has sat a lot and will need some going over, but I don't know what it needs yet. I know it needs exhaust, hood latch, probably shocks, 2 tires(30x9.50x15 BF M/T), the floor pans are pretty rotten and the wind shield is cracked. The rest of the truck looks pretty good except for some faded paint.
I am going to do a basic tune up and I guess change fluids. I think I will replace all the brake pads, rotors, shoes, and drums or at least what is needed. What other recommendations does anybody have? I think for the floor I am just going to cut out the bad and screw some good metal down and seal it. I have been looking at a basic performance exhaust from Rusty's and a Rough Country 3" or 3"II lift and some 33's if I can find some cheap enough. I have been reading and I know I can fit them if I do some cutting which is fine. I have no problem cutting it up as long as I do it good. Any advice will be great. Thanks, John
Here is a picture I took of it a couple months ago.

Thanks everybody. I am going to do the title work and get tags tomorrow. Right now it is surrounded by about 3 ft of snow in my grand fathers back yard, so I will have to get it out of there before I can get it home to start working on it.
Besides the oil should I change any of the other fluids?
