2x4 to a 4x4
Have a 2001 xj in great shape with 100000 miles on it and have been wanting to convert it to a 4x4 for awhile now. I was hoping someone could give me a ballpark estimate of what that may cost. Thanks.

It depend on if u want to buy new vs used, from junkyard or buying another XJ as a donor.
(Buying another XJ as a donor usually is cheaper)
Look for one with blown engine or wrecked, etc).
Keep in mind you would need the transmission from the donor so if you decide to buy a donor XJ, make sure the transmission is working.
