Greetings! Finally decided to join the forum after some time of lurking. I bought my first Jeep(99 Xj Sport 4x4) about 2 years ago from my work(technician at dodge jeep ram dealership in town) as a good solid daily for snow we get up here in flagstaff(originally from southern California). Immediately fell in love. Sadly there was an accident and well....lets just say it wasn't pretty and neither is the jeep. Despite the sad state that the jeep is currently in, it still runs and drives great (all body damage). This summer I finally decided to try to not fix the jeep and just buy another one. I happened to stumble across another 99 Xj sport that came in on trade at work.......but its 2wd
. Being around and working on cars all the time(also having tons of other non jeep project cars) I figured I could do a 4wd swap and bought it. That project is to come and I might run a thread on here of progress(ive already seen a few on here so im not sure yall want another). Happy to be a part of this community and look forward to chatting with yall about jeeps and jeep related things

Welcome! Yes doing the 4wd swap is not bad. Having a complete 4wd parts Jeep is the way to go but you can put it together one piece at a time like I did with mine. Let me know if you have any questions during the swap!
