I have a quick question for someone who knows about jeep cherokee 4.0L engines. It is a 5-speed, 2WD. Nothing fancy. Not a Grand model, just a plain cherokee.
When my fuel gets below half a tank it acts jumpy before I shift into a gear. When my tank is full, it occasionally jumps before I shift gears. I recently discovered that my jeep does not have a fuel filter, therefore I'm thinking it is related to my fuel tank. My dad put some STP (black bottle) in the tank and filled it up and it made it stop for about two weeks. I am wondering if anyone can tell me if they know what it could be.
