199,000 miles but ran like a champ until the hit. Custom rear bumber, wrangler 5 spoke aluminum wheels, nice clean seats and more. Was a nice truck

Was a county beach patrol vehicle with 140,000 well maintained miles.Bad rot on chassis which is why I gave up on it but ran great. Mostly good for driveline components or sheet metal.

Although rusty its a three inch lift coil and the shocks have less than 6,000 miles on them



Real basic model. Not even center console. Low mile on engine drive line and ran exceptionally strong. Should have put engine in my truck but have another block I'm building stroker on.

Curious how are the seals for the windows? outside where the door meets the window?

 

The black XJ (i.e. government issue) was a county beach patrol vehicle and as such was purchased like police cars with a special package. It had options you don't see on regular XJs like front and rear skid plates, front and rear recovery hooks, less trim than even the SE model and as mentioned above no center console just an e-brake. Also had a light package on the roof that was removed before I got it.

Depends on which XJ. The black is in fair condition (manual windows locks). The green XJ is in better condition (power windows and locks).

 

The mileage on the black XJ is lower than I remembered. Here's the cluster showing 115,000 ...




When I replaced it with this about 8,000 miles ago.



Being a government vehicle all the required maintenance was done on schedule but the exposure to the ocean killed the body. The driveline is a find.
