Installed the harness today and unfortunately didn't see this post before install. I have factory fog lamps and just would like to make sure I'm looking at the correct fix for high beam issues after installation.

So it looks like the necessary fix is splicing the little red wire from the drivers side plug into the blue wire of the new harness. is that it? Everything back to normal after that?

 

Yes sir, I had to do this on my 99 with factory fogs and no issues after that.

 

I am completely out right now.

Will post here when I get more, might be a week or so.

 

Thanks for the quick response. Btw the difference between old and new harness is night and day. I can't believe I was skeptical and held off upgrading as long as I did.
