Napa is showing re-manned & new 90, 120, & 136 amp alts for the 97. I may just grab one and see what happens. I'll definitely be grabbing so 4awg cables from you when the time comes.

Put all of mine in except the ground from firewall to block. Good length, nice heavy and solid wire. I was just curious where the fire wall to engine ground attaches. Is it the braided strap up near the top of the firewall?

 

yes. That's correct. It replaces the braided cable.

 

figured, but it looked hard to get to and I was really hot and lazy so I'll just get it later.
