Just as a quick bump, I wanted to let everyone know that I've made a fresh batch of mounts. Ready to ship - just send me a PM to work out the payment details.
Thanks for looking!

Just got my antenna mount today and I gotta say that it looks really good on my Cherokee! Now all I need is that 4' Firestik to show up.... Thanks for the great mount! Looks very similar to the one JCR Off Road sells except that their mount is extended around the tail light and utilizes 2 screws instead of 1. Still this is a great mount!!! Thanks again @thatXJguy I'll post a pic as soon as my Firestik shows up.

As a member on CherokeeForum here noted a year or two back when JCR first introduced their bracket, it was eerily similar to mine that I began fabricating 6 years ago.

Signing in to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday this week.
I still have CB brackets for both sides of the XJ in stock, and for this week only, I will honor $25 per order. This offer ends 11/25 at 12:00 A.M. Eastern time.

I just looked up the weights of my Browning BR-140 (base loaded 102 inch quarter wave CB Whip with an NMO base) and it lists at 11.4 ounces in weight compared to the 4 foot firestick at 14 ounces. To top it off most of the weight of the BR-140 is in the base, the whip itself doesn't weigh much at all, so if this mount can handle a 4 foot fiberglass antenna it should have no problem handling a 102 inch base loaded stainless whip no problem. You'll probably want to put a tennis ball or the like on the whip though as it will beat up the side of your liftgate when bouncing around off road.

I would love to open my market to the ZJ platform, but I haven't had enough demand for it. I can only offer XJ brackets at this time.

For a limited time, I have mounts that are of increased thickness. This is a limited time run because of an opportunistic sheet of metal I was able to get ahold of for the right price. Available in both sides for $35 each.
