The expensive bits are the custom made WJ lights and the custom made parts for the 97-01 XJ HVAC panel.
Spoke too soon. I'm going to need to raise around $5k. that's a lot of pre-orderin, although I can raise a good chunk of that by selling XJ, TJ, and XJ interiors with lights I have in-stock.

Hey, I just placed an order through your website for an interior set for a 99 cherokee with an overhead console. My jeep has a glove box light, is that something I could receive with my order as well? If not, it's no big deal.

I'm looking forward to installing the new lights and will be keeping a lookout for when you start selling the instrument sets (in blue) again.

I need more info about the glove box light.

1. Is is mounted horizontal or vertical
2. How long is it / Is there clearance for a longer light?
3. If mounted horizontal, does the socket rotate freely?
4. If mounted horizontal and fixed (not rotating), is the contact portion of the bulb parallel to the ground or perpendicular.

Once I get my fuel line replaced and thermostat installed (correctly, this time) I'll try to head to the salvage yard and take a look. There was a '98' there last week that I'll take another look at. I'm pretty sure 97-99 had glove box lights. That feature went away in 00-01 with the interior color change and possibly air-bag changes.

I was going off of memory last night, and I went out to check this morning to find out more about the glove box light. I honestly thought I had one, but it turns out I don't. Sorry about that. I'm a noob, I know.

Default Got Mine!

Just wanted to say thanks for the bulbs. Installation was a breeze (except the courtesy lights - this old body don't bend like it used too).

What a difference!!!!!

Amazing . change to the interior of my XJ. Even with the tinted windows when the lights come on you can see everything in the car.

These lights use almost no battery power and will be extremely important while camping.

Thanks for the great product and excellent service.

They're great for camping! We went camping a couple weeks ago. It was nice at night... pointed the back of the jeep at our cooler / food. As far as battery drain, they draw around 15% of the stock bulb current. Assuming you've got a good battery, these lights can generally be left on for two or three days. Much more than a weekend is pushing it. The stock bulbs can drain a battery overnight.

Glad you made it through the courtesy bulbs. They don't take well to being removed.

If you ever have any problems with them, let me know. I assume they do well for at least a year, since I've been selling most of these particular bulbs for that long. I'd like to hear back from people whenever they go out- whether it's years or longer.

As far as quality, I got a $400 shipment of lights for old XJs and TJs, but they're crappy. Gonna have to stick with my way-over-priced supplier for now. Win some lose some.

Received my order today and installed it without any troubles. Waited until dark to take some pictures. These LEDs are amazing, everything that I hoped for. It truly is a nice blanket of white light throughout my interior. Now I'm starting the process of converting all of my exterior lights to LED. Thanks Snajo!

I hate glove box lights.

I'll have the website up soon-ish. It's good to go minus legally stuff like privacy policy and terms and such.

If anyone is looking for lights, just let me know.
Thanks,
Jason

Website is live! http://www.onewaylight.com

For now you can buy light sets for 84-96 XJs, 97-01 XJs, and 93-98 ZJs. A few loose LEDs are available as well.

Upcoming features include a pre-order / funding section for future products and a gallery where light owners can easily show off their results.

Site design should steadily improve over the next weeks any months. Someone else is working on it and for that I am very happy!

I suspect this thread is going to get moved at some point. I don't intend to be one of those vendors that puts up a new post every morning, so I'll try and make an impact in other productive ways around here.

Thanks for all the support - I wouldn't be spending all my time pushing lights if it weren't for the forum here.

cherokeeforum10 will help a small bit at checkout.
Thanks!

Default Website is open!

The website is open, finally, and we've received our first orders!

http://www.onewaylight.com

Enter cherokeeforum at checkout for 15%. That has been fixed thanks to some quick feedback.

The website designer presented me with a design draft that decked the site out in carbon fiber texture. I've introduced her to diamond plate, tire tracks, and rust.

Please check out the site!
