Thank you AzPacknHorns and alnielsen very much for your patience as we were getting the first batch made and ready. Both orders have been shipped.

 

I received my tracking numbers today, however UPS didn't have them in the system yet.

My brackets arrived today. They look to be in good shape. I'm pleased.

Did you ever get that done. I haven't found it.

 

The steering box is grade 8 7/16 14 4" (3)
There is a nut welded in the unibody on each side. It should me M1.5 - choose your own length. Class 10.9. (2)
I used 4 of the same bolts (same size and pitch as the M1.5) and used flat washer and lock washers on the two front most holes. So a total of 4 lock washers and 10 regulars on the metric stuff. Regular washers for steering box

 

Anybody got theirs mounted up yet?

 

I have been terribly busy here lately between work, getting these brackets and shipped out fast as possible, and being in the middle of buying a house. Time is limited for me for the next couple weeks, so I havent got to do the write-up on these brackets as soon as I wished.

So I would like to make an offer the the guys who have already purchased a set of my brackets. To anyone willing to take the time to do a complete picture write-up on the installation of my brackets, I will ship one of our new pre-production XJ CB radio antenna mount brackets for free! These are high quality strong mounts that mount just behind your passenger tail lamp using a stock 6mm tail housing bolt and 2 supplied self tapping screws. I currently ONLY have 97+ made. Sorry pre96ers, These maybe easily modified to fit, but I am not sure as I have not had a pre96 to work off of yet.

 

I have mine all painted with spray can bedliner and I'm going to try to put them on this weekend.

 

Got mine yesterday. Very nice indeed, I'm spraying tomorrow and hopefully the family will find enough to do that I can escape to the garage and mount them
over the weekend
