Shop rebuilt 231J Transfer Case. 23 spline input, 27 spline rear output. C16117Y
ID Tag info: 231J \ 5209-8319 \ 6 6 95 1 \ 272
The NP231 is a part-time transfer case. The
4-wheel drive ranges are undifferentiated and should
be used on unpaved or low traction surfaces only.
Purchased for my '93 Grand Cherokee Laredo. Never installed.
