When I encounter a broken TB screw that's flush with the surface, I tack on a weld on top of the bolt and build up enough so I can clamp on the vise grips.
Drilling the hardened bolt out is a last resort

Im not doing renix TBs because I have a 3 jaw chuck in my lathe, and since they don't have a nice round mouth like a 91+, I cant chuck it up.

I have an early model 1996, but built in late 1995, so on occasion the 1996 FSM is totally off. How do I tell the difference between a 1995 TB and a 1996?
Also, do you install a new spring?
I would be interested in a 60mm.
Thanks.

91 to 95 has the MAP on the firewall. 96+ has the MAP attached to the driver's side of the TB. I never seen one that needed a new spring. I only use the shaft if its in very nice condition.
