MD Want to trade D44 3.54 for D44 or 35 w/ 3.73
I have an 87 D44 with 3.54 gears. I bought it being told it had 3.73, someone swapped on a tag and the P.O never got that far into to check. If your going to build up a 44 the carrier break is at 3.73 gears so if you have a 3.73 and are about to build it this would be a good swap!
I want to trade and throw down some money if someone has one ready to bolt it (actually with 3.73). I already have breaks and drums so I just need the gears and bearings to be in good shape. I will throw in some money to sweeten the deal.
I would also be interested in a dana 35 if it is set up right and in good shape.
