1.5 inch 5x4.5 Synergy wheel spacers (Brand New). Put them on and took em off. 89 Xj front hubs the the wheel flange is twice as thick as later models and doesn't leave enough stud. The spacer fits but doesn't grab enough stud. At least not enough that I'm comfortable with. Was $160 plus ship. Selling for $100 plus ship.

I've exhausted the Dorman catalog. All the longer studs listed don't have any more usable thread. A few longer ones have the same amount of thread as existing just an additional un-threaded stub on the end. As mentioned the 89 already uses longer studs because between the hub flange and the thickness of the rotor flange it's almost an inch of steel. Add the thickness of the material the nut sits on in the spacer and you've got barely a 1/2" for the nut to grab. More like 3/8-7/16". If you know where to find longer ones let me know. The 89 hubs take a .630 knurl which really limits choices. I went this route because I really wanted to keep my stock rims but I'm ready to go for new rims with proper back spacing now.
