LOTS of info around about the harness upgrade. Check this link out. Post #15 explains why it should be done.

One word, amazing.

I have a extra one I'd sale. Brand new in the package. I bought it but sold the Jeep before I could install it. The cheapest I've found was $37. I'll sale this one for $30 shipped.

High jacked my own thread. WOW!

Will the backing Plates off of a ZJ Dana 44 bolt on to an XJ with the Dana 35?

Yes, they are same EXACT same part.

I went to the yard today and got 5 kits. One was from a Liberty. I'll be contacting via PMs.

Forgot to add, I picked up a set of rotors that look to be in new condition. The pads & emergency brake shoes looked new as well.

They would be a extra $50, this includes shipping.

I should clarify. I'm saying that the rotors seem to be next to new based on the fact that the pads & emergency brake shoes look new as well.
The rotors would be an additional $50. They are for a ZJ.

If anyone's interested I installed these cables today and they're a direct fit.

Yea. Here are the ones for the '97-'01's. But I haven't worked with them or know anyone who has.

I'm going to post the 96 down cables on the first page with all the other pertinent info. Thank you for finding these.

The 97 up cables look right but will wait until someone confirms it. Again, great price.
