I will make a trip to the yard on July 11th. I can only get a maximum of 4 or possibly 5 rear kits due to time/weather constraints. If you need a kit I suggest that you get in line. It will be another month before I make another trip to the yard.

I got 3 kits last Saturday. Currently all are spoken for, but that could change. If you would like a kit, you can post here or pm me. I will be going to the yard again near the end of July or early August.
Price: $170
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): Cherokee XJ (84-96), Cherokee XJ (96-01), Other Jeep (Specify in Comments)
Location (State/Prov): GA
Item Condition: Used
I'm interested in doing the conversion. I have a late '96(Sept)model XJ and noticed in the above info (84-96) and (96-01). What's the difference? Also in an earlier post by BD he says if you have a '96 or older XJ that you can use the same e/b cables if you have a small lift. You NEED a small lift or you don't want to much of a lift?
THANKS for any help.

In 97 they updated the styling some. Other than the location of where the cables attach to the body, thats pretty much it, as far as I know. For purposes of this kit, a 97 up can use the ZJ drivers side cable that included in the kit. The 96 down cannot so I don't include it. I suggest to EVERYONE to reuse the stock cables if you are stock height or have a small lift. All you need is a set of small cable clamps Locally, they are less than $1 for both I'm at 6.5 inches of lift & mine cables are too short. I plan to modify mine with another set if stock cables sometime in the near future.
