The yards that do have a rear disc braked Liberty want to sell the axle as one unit.

I just got done doing this and highly recommend the upgrade. Ended up finding a great deal locally on a part out (sorry David).


One thing to be aware of, I had read all the different things people are doing to get the parking brake cable to work and wasn't sure what to do until I found that Crown makes cables for this, both pre and post 1996 styles are available at a fair price from many sellers. Oh, and they fit perfectly!


Sorry if this is old news to any of you, I'm just trying to save someone the headache I had.

Crown does make cables but some have found the cable ends do not match up. Crown may be aware of the problem & fixed it. Worth looking into.
