All sold out for now. I’ll post up when I find more, hopefully sometime in the next 2 months.

I have a 2001 XJ with the 8.25, do you still have a liberty kit? I am in North GA so I can either pick it up from you or shipped.

So, I'll definitely have my PayPal ready if you come across another set of ZJ rear brakes and prop valve.
Went to the local Pick-n-Pull today and grabbed what I needed and then some.

I’m glad that you found what you needed but please don’t post those parts for sale in this thread, you’ll need to start your own. I don’t want folks thinking that you are selling them with/for me. I’ve been selling the kits on here for going on 10 years & don’t want to tarnish what little reputation I might have here.

I do hope you understand.

I'm interested in one for a Chrysler 8.25 too, although I will need one quicker than you can get with the line of interested folks.Of the possible options to convert to rear disc brakes, sticking with a Jeep based solution ticks the most boxes for me. Unfortunately, getting the backing plate seems to be the biggest issue. So far the only after market solution for a 96-98 ZJ plate seems to be from Crown Automotive. I'm not trying to take business away from you, but what is your opinion (or anyone else's) on Crown's products in general?

I've used quite a few Crown products on different vehicles over the years with no negative issues.

I have no negative opinion on any kits out there other than the price.

I read somewhere that if using 15" wheels, you need at least a 4.5" backspacing. This would mean that factory wheels will no longer work.

Can anyone confirm this?

I discovered my OE backing plates are worn on the pads the shoes contact and thought I'd go ahead and do the swap. But I was already shying away from doing it due to the fact that it is not 100% plug and play. If this is true, I'll just find some non-worn drum backing plates and rebuild the rear drum brakes and call it good.
