I have a HP Dana 30 with a diff guard, Aussie locker, 1/4 in LCA brackets, one one steering from Rustys, & 760 U joints. The rear is a welded 8.8 with a SOLID diff cover & both have 4.10s. Also have five 4 on 4.5 steel wheels & will include the steering box. All of this is bolted in my XJ & I've been wheeling on this for the past 2 years. Very low miles on the rebuild of both axles. I never street drive it. Only sees off road use.
How much cash difference you talking?
Keep in mind I'm in GA & you are in Jersey & I'm willing to meet you at your home.

 

I'm actually in north east pa now. Jim Thorpe 18229. Not particularly interested in a rear that's welded. I will keep you in mind.

 

Same drive time. I might could find a open 8 25 rear. Again, how much cash difference you looking for?

The 8.8 has disc brakes too.

built XJ Dana 44 (Superior axles, 4.56, elocker, Ruff Stuff Diff cover I think, TeraFlex disc conv think its factory spline)

Stripped XJ Dana 44 was factory posi have all parts from it. Lots of new in box parts for it like 33spline OX, 2 sets Factory 10 axles, BigDave disc conv parts)

Also have brand new in box 4.10s (forget brand) for Dana 30 & 44

33 spline OX & RCVs for Dana 30

Also have steering box and some options in wheels all 5x 4.5

I also may be interested in trading stuff + cash for your 97 2 door (if in good condition aka limited rust) or add my 98 Classic Cherokee which is stripped but I have all the parts it's on Dana 30 and 8.25 but auto...

Would love your axles on my 4 door which will have Mercedes diesel swap & LoMax Dana 300

A lot of writing but a lot of options to let you think about it...I have a lot of XJ parts...lol
