98 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. DD ready. Lots of new parts!
I have decided to sell our 1998 Grand Cherokee.
Its a 4.0l 4x4 (NP242) Laredo, leather, loaded with just about every option.
Every thing works, and this Jeep runs and drives great.
153,000 miles! That's about 40k less then average for this year.
Located in south east Michigan near Dundee.
Test drives welcome!
We have spent close to if not more then 4k in new parts alone in the last 3 months.
Here is a list of what has been done in the last 1,000 miles.
New stock sized tires.
New front sway bar bushings.
New brake rotors front and rear.
New brake pads front and rear.
New hatch lift shocks.
New plugs.
New plug wires.
New cap.
New rotor.
New air filter.
New steering box. (Up sized box from a 98 Darango V8.)
New exhaust manifold.
New cat.
New flowmaster 50 SUV muffler.
New mandrel bent pre-cat pipe with flex section.
New mandrel bent tail pipe.
New magnaflow 15º slash cut SS tip.
All pipes are 2.5" and every thing is flanged so it can be repaired if needed.
New front O2.
New rear O2.
New exhaust mounts.
New throttle body spacer.
New 4 hole fuel injectors.
New fuel pump.
New Mopar battery.
New upper and lower rad hoses.
New heater hoses.
OEM trailer hitch. (Rust free, not installed yet but will be in a few days.)
Gas tank skid plate. (Rust free, not installed yet but will be in a few days.)
Trans cooler kit. (Will be installed when hitch is installed. Its larger then the OEM unit, and vary well made.)
New Kicker 6.5" two way speakers in all four doors.
Replaced several broken trim pieces.
Full sized spare tire.
New projector head lights.
New 6,000k HID kit. (Not installed yet. Will install it as soon as I have time.)
New LED tail lights.
New rain guards.
New wiper blades front and rear.
Trans flushed and serviced.
Oil just changed.
2" BB lift.
Just got an alignment.
New thermostat.
New thermostat housing.
Door hing rebuild kit. (Drivers door hing needs to be rebuilt. Have the parts and will be fixing it as soon as I have time.)
New steering wheel cover. (The leather on the steering while is in poor condition. I am looking for a good used wheel. But the cover works just fine.)
Recent things that have been done.
Newer starter.
Newer alternator.
Transfer case was rebuilt last year.
I'm sure I am forgetting something as well.
Its in great condition!
Has only one rust spot on the right rocker. Only rust on the whole thing.
Body shop said they could repair it for under $300. (Update: I ordered a replacement rocker panel, and will be dropping the Jeep off on the 10th to have it installed and painted.)
Here are some pics for you.
And this is the ONLY rust on this Jeep. (And its getting fixed.)
I have spent well over 6k total on this Jeep now not including any labor!
Asking $5,750 O.B.O.
I know that seams a little high, but This Jeep is worth it!!!!!
It also has a mount on the front of it for a tow bar to flat tow it.
I do not have the A frame, but there not that expensive.
Thank you for looking!:usa:
