Default 1999 Cherokee Classic w/ tow package. (Southwest Vehicle) $6,000

Posting up my 1999 Cherokee Classic for sale.
Mileage - 216,698
I've got too many vehicles and it's time to down size.
I'll start off with what it needs. It's got some of the typical leaks coming from the valve, tranny pan I believe (it's wet near where the tranny and transfer case meet, along with being wet around the pan gasket). Slight power steering leak as well. It has some exhaust leaks and runs a little rich with when driving. I'm going to replaced the O2's, but it sounds like it has a leak at the exhaust manifold, so that could be contributing the the O2 issue and rich running condition. I recommend that whoever buys it, that they replaced the manifold before taking it on any long trips, as the rich running causes some drivability issues after awhile, not to mention the terrible fuel mileage with it running rich. The right rear window doesn't roll down, as there is no window motor in place ( it had gone bad and was removed before I purchased it). The drivers window switch has issues with rolling down the passenger window (I know ya'll have run into this before and know how to fix it). The drivers side rear door latch sticks and is a little difficult to open form the outside. I've remedied this in the past by cleaning out the latch mechanism and lubing it. The side of the drivers seat vinyl is cracking/peeling. Other seats are in good shape. Nothing a little shampooing wouldn't take care of.
The paint I believe is Chili Pepper Red Pearl, but I'm sure an expert can comment on that. The clear coat is peeling/oxidized on the roof, some of the hood, and the fender flares. Otherwise, the rest of the paint is in pretty decent shape for being 23 years old and having 200k+ miles.
As far as how it drives, I daily drove it for a while. The steering is a little worn out and has play. It could definitely benefit from the replacement of anything with a ball joint lol, as well as an alignment. However, IT HAS NEVER GIVEN ME ANY DEATHWOBBLE, even on the freeway.. Yes, you read that correctly lol.
It has been sitting for about a year, so I put a new battery in it to get it started and running.
I purchased the Cherokee with a Rough Country 4" kit with the Add-a-leaf already installed on it from the previous along the wheels and the tires that are on it, also installed by the previous owner. I have not done anything the suspension, wheels or tires since I purchased it several years back.
The Cooper SST Pro's that are on it have a little bit of tread left, but will need replacing soon, as they are worn and old.
I installed a Putco headlight harness, and some Hella European headlights. It made a HUGE difference at night!
It also has the factory tow package.
This XJ has little-to-no rust. If any, in slight, small areas. I believe it's been a southwest vehicle most of it's life.
With today's market on used vehicles (as I'm sure many of you have been noticing), pricing are skyrocketing for most vehicles, especially trucks and 4x4's. While making this thing perfect could potential command a high price, I'm willing to let it go as is.
Price is $6,000 but feel free to DM and we can talk. If you are serious buyer, DM me as well if you want pics from any specific areas on the Jeep, and I'll try and take them and get them to you as soon as I can.
