I've decided to part ways with my 98 XJ. I am only the second owner on this vehicle (My grandpa purchased it brand new in 1998 - I bought it from him in 2016). When I bought it from him it was completely stock. I've put a ton of time and money into this and wish I had time to keep it but between work and kids, I don't have time to go wheeling anymore.
It does currently need a drive shaft and transfer case. About a month ago I was driving home and the drive shaft went and swung around and took out the t-case. It's not a hard fix, and I had hoped to fix it prior to selling to ask more money for it but no time.
Below are a list of mods on the jeep (I have receipts for almost everything and can product upon request):
-Tom Woods Custom Heavy Duty Drive Shaft (needs replaced)
-Rusty's Offroad ZXJ Cherokee 8" Long Travel Kit
-Advance Adapters SYE kid (needs replaced)
-Rough Country Rear Bar Pin Flag Nuts
-Delphi Electric In-Tank Fuel Pump Assembly replacement
-Heavy duty steering box replacement
-Boostwerks Engineering Ultimate XJ Steering Brace
-Rugged Ridge Speedometer Gear, 37 Teeth, Short
-1/2 x 3 x 8 7/8 rounded ubolts
-Replaced exhauster hangers with OEM parts
-Replaced fuel pump and housing assembly
-Replaced wheel bearings and hub assemblies
-Replaced steering gear
-Yukon Gear 4.88s (rear and front)
-New heavy duty axle shafts (I have the stock ones as well)
-Hankook 37s (less than 5k miles on them)
Vehicle currently has 163k miles on it. Again, this jeep runs great..all it needs is a drive shaft and a transfer case and it's ready to go. Would have to be picked up on a trailer. I have the clean title in hand. I can send any additional pictures or answer any questions as well.
