Think these would work on a 8.5" 3 link/4 link setup?

im guessing hes not going to get back to you cause its a silly question he probably couldn't answer unless your jeep is at his house.

since a 3/4 link in the back is so far from stock, usually everything is different including shock mounting locations. so there would be no way of telling, unless it was already built, or you designed it and knew where your shocks were going to be.

they measurements are 20.37" Comp. - 34.9 extended (from the link he posted) take a tape and see if they fit.

if it helps The compressed length is ~5" too long for me to fit on my xj with 5" lift and relocated to flush lower shock mounts on my 8.8, unless I wanted to put holes in my floor and mount the shocks through the floor in the back (which may be worth it to get these for $175 shipped) but my jeep would never flex well enough to use all 14" so i'd be better off with 12"s as well.

either way i'm going to measure and see where they end up, just cause the price is awesome and i think they are sexy. That is of course if they are still for sale.

Sorry didnt see your post.

In the front or rear? For the front you are going to need a stem to eye conversion. Your really going to have to measure to see if they will work.

you still have these?

ah poo!

dukie564 09-20-2012 04:35 PM

these are way too long for an XJ with shocks in the stock mounting locations, even if you have 10" of lift they'll bottom out.

Just a heads up
