Yep Rustys shipping cost is way high. I looked at 3in lift there decide to go with a 3in Zone myself at quadratec. I'm glad I stumbled across this thread because I was having trouble finding info on zone products 3in lift.

I got the zone and its great, been about a year and my buddy got the same kit but RC and his is sagged completely while mine is still lifted perfectly. Ride isn't great but it doesn't really bother me.

I glad to hear that looks like I'm not wasting my money then. As for the ride quality not concerned about that if I wanted a smooth ride I wouldn't own a jeep lol.

I care a little about ride quality. Especially since it’s my daily driver. I don’t want it uncomfortable. Right now my ride is as rough as I’d want it with the rc 3”. I’m contemplating ordering the zone but I don’t want it to be worse. Their spring rates are about 100 lbs more than rough country/stock. That scares me lol

Do yourself a favor and buy Old man emu leafs and don't look back. No one has ever complained they didn't like the ride.

I’ve read reviews of them being very stiff. Then people remove the one leaf and they claim it’s better.

no you must have read wrong haha...people remove a leaf to lower the lift height to get to their desired 2 inches of lift or so.

That's what most people do, remove one leaf--either buy the cs033rb leafs which are 2.5" or 3.5", or the cs033ra which are 3.5" or 4.5". The leaf removal is the 1" difference.

you can use the cs033rb leaf with one leaf removed to get to 3.5" by adding a longer shackle, or shackle relocation bracket. Or you can use the cs033ra with one leaf removed and stock shackle.

I was on my local craigslist today when I stumbled across a used re 3.5” lift. Claimed less than 500 miles on it. So I went looked at it and purchased it. Got a killer deal on it. So we shall see if this lift is good or not

I did the zone full leaf 3" a few weeks ago, got it for about 430 through the shop I work at. The rear is kinda bouncy and with the poly bushings, make sure you coat the heck out of them with some kind of grease. Pretty much just dunk them in it. I had to go back and re-do my leafs because I didn't use enough and it was squeak and creak like crazy over the smallest bumps.

I did install RE discos , a skyjacker transfer case drop kit , Novak transfer case shifter cable , and IRO front shackle mount as well. Topped it off with a set of 30x9.5x15 Federal Couragia MT's. Very happy with finished product. Heres a few pics.

In your profile it mentions 4” lift, but in your post you say 3”. How many inches? I have a ‘98 XJ and getting a 3 1/2” RE lift right now and still deciding on tire size. Do you have any rub?

Rough Country, now I'm interested in Zone. They are about the same price. How is it? Hard to install? Hows it ride? Quality? My jeep is my daily driver, im in high school. The only offroad it sees is the occasional muddy field or snowy roads, but 90% of the time its my DD for getting around town. Don't just tell me I'll get what I pay for, I want some honest good opinions and reviews. Honestly its pretty much just gonna be for looks. So what are you guys thoughts? Anything is appreciated. Thanks.
no one here seems to be answering the main question HOW IS RIDE QUALITY he is driving on roads I have posted the same thing a 100 times and no one will say anything about ride quality.
