all are correct, although i will tell you from personal experience if your buying new which i beleive all added up comes to 200+ if your doing rock crawling or putting continueous strees on your steering save your money and buy something strong, i ran into issue after issue with my V8 steering and wish i just saved the money from day one and went with 1ton OTK steering.

You could get a setup from a junkyard for cheap though, just for temporary

I don't want to hijack the thread but what do you think is better (if any):

SeriousOffroad-like DOM tube with 1Ton TREs or solid tie rod like Currie/Ironman4x4 with TREs that don't reaming the knuckles?

zj tie rod is one of the best upgrades you can do to your rig for the price

What he said!!^^^^^^
I'm looking to do this upgrade soon. And don't want to waste money on parts that will go bad or won't fit. Any info on these upgrades would help.

it uses stock tie rod ends. the IRO one doesnt even come with the tie rod ends you have to buy them separate.
reviews on the rustys is that they thread out quick. products like these attract a lot of people because they look beefy for the price
zj tie rod will go all day on 35's just as well

I'm with Atmos on this. While the after market tie rod is beefy the ends are stock. I got lucky with my j/y upgrade. 10.00 bucks and the ends are good. I have had no problem with my zj upgrade running 34s.
