XJ with TJ 4.0
I have a 2000 XJ sport and i bought a 1999 4.0 out of a TJ. Do i need to swap the balancer pullies or will they match up. Any help would be appreciated.

Was the Cherokee originally 4.0 I'd think so with that year of XJ. I'm still new with XJs but not TJs or Engine swaps helped a couple of buds with there still waiting for dough for mine. Honestly everytime I've "helped" with one it's been fabbing up mounts, transmission adapter and wiring and fuel lines.

Yes it was originally a 4.0. My buddy wreck his TJ so he gave me the motor. Im fairly new to jeeps bought this as a project to mess around with. I figured since they are close to the same year and the balancers match measurement wise i should have to but wanna be sure.
