Default wth rubicon express bolt broke

Just replaced my upper arms with new ones both rubicon express . The new ones came with new bolts. Tried to tighten the first one to factory torque specs and it snapped. Went back to using the old factory bolts. Is this a known problem with there bolts or was I just unlucky.

no not cross threaded. screwed the nut on all the way by hand then torqued it down and it just kept turning until it snapped. i didnt even want to try to use the other one if they can't be trusted to be torqued down without breaking.

I had a leaf spring centering pin do the same thing. Sometimes you just get a crappy bolt, it happens.

The stock suspension bolts are much better and offer a higher rating. I prefer to reuse them if condition is good.
