So was your friend ****ed up too? If he was sober and was acting as your dd then IMO he was doing you a favor. So he ****ed up....at least you aren't dead. If both of you were blitzed well that's just plain old stupid and you should still not hold it against him because he would have taken a DUI/manslaughter/etc charge instead of you.

 

clearly you don't get it. i don't needlessly put other peoples lives in jeopardy when i jump behind the wheel...my father died driving drunk and killed a 16 year old girl. he was a ****ing idiot and didn't have to live with the brutal reality of a dui/manslaughter hanging over his head. he got the easy way out.

OP went to a bar with a couple of his buddies, got lit ("wrecked" was his word for it) and on the drive home, his smashed friend kicked it into park at 30. It made a yucky noise. I don't believe he ever made it clear who was actually behind the wheel at the time?

Sometimes, cursing tells a better story or sends a better message. We're protected by the CF asterisk police so any offense is perceived, not actual. Who cares if the thread gets closed? The point has been made.
