I have some cheap *** rough country shocks which are pretty much dying a rapid death after about 6 months. Cheap china ****.

I have seen the bilstein's up close on my brothers 4 runner, they are impressive. Imight try those or some fox shocks this season.

Mine had sky jacker 8000's all the way around but I picked up a set of JK rubicon shocks and put them in the rear with the sway bar bracket made into bar pin eliminator mod. They are at least 2'' longer than what I was running in the rear. I will def get Bilsteins when I spend the money for new longer shocks.

I run Bilstein 5125s. They are leagues above the rough country 2.2s/ skyjacker/ DoetschTech shocks I had before. Only thing I don't like is the boots. They disconnect every time it flexes and are a PITA to reconnect.

Haha yea makes me mad. Thinking about just cutting like 3" of the bottom off and attaching it to the cylinder part of the shock... Just leave the piston bare like all my other shocks.

I was thinking of just etching a little groove around the top with a dremel for the boot to grab when you zip it tight. But that thought was long ago, still just pulling them down by hand..lol

OME Nitrocharger Sports at about 4" lift, pretty pricey, but very happy with them. I believe they are 11" travel, I got the "long" model.
