WJ->XJ Steering Wheel Swap: Connecting The Steering Wheel Controls
Hey friends! I'm about to do the WJ steering wheel swap on my 2000 XJ. Looking for help making the WJ steering wheel controls work with my Pioneer head unit. I know a few folks here did the swap and managed to get the steering wheel media controls to work with their after market head units, but I’m not clear on some of the details from what I’ve read here.
I have both a ZJ and WJ clocksprings available to use. A WJ '99 airbag with single connector. Two different steering wheel control harnesses: PAC Audio SWC-RC-1 and the Metra Axxess ASWC-1. (pics enclosed)
Which of these parts do I need to use? Is there anything else I will need to make this work? Very thankful for any help y'all can offer!
