Default Wiring extra fog lamps into stock switch?

I know HOW to do it, I just want to know if it's a good/bad idea.

I would splice the brush guard mounted lights into the stock fog lamp wiring so both sets are activated by the same switch.

Should I install a relay or anything, or just rely on the stock relay?

Use a relay for the new set,.or all the lights would be dim. I tied my reverse fogs into.the stock reverse lights and just used a relay, and i.can see about 200 feet behind even in pitch black conditions just make sure your state/ local laws allow you to run the extra lights, here in va were only supposed to have 5 forward facing lights running at a time

Use the relay that the new set came with BUT, wire post 86 of the relay to the 12v+ output that goes to the factory fogs and run a new fused power run to the battery for the aftermarket fogs. That will get all the fogs on at once and keep them all on their own power source.

No excessive load on the factory system and you get them all to come on with one switch.

Uber emphasis on the relay. You will melt the stock **** without it.
