Wiring daytime lights
I have recently bought new headlights and they have a row of LEDs with separate wiring.
I would like to connect them so they turn on when the vehicle is running and turn off when I shut the vehicle off.
If I depend on a dashboard switch, I will eventually forget and kill my battery.
I initially connected them to the side running lights not realizing they all flash when the turn signal is on.
So, any advice on where to connect power?

If they just use a standard +12v connector (ground shared with rest of headlight), I think you could also wire it to any switched 12v source in the interior fuse box (several to choose from)
I also think there may be one in the engine fuse box, a multi-meter would be handy.
I would be wary of tying into anything related to function of the vehicle, even though the LED's use little power (like the AC relay for example)
