They will work. I added an extra leaf in my set up. Assuming my u bolts were still the stock ones they fit fine. Not as many threads sticking out of course. But still a few. I drove around for a week and retightened them. Didnt move a bit. So far so good. Been like this for 6 months. I check them often too. Just in case.

Lot easier to take the pack apart on the jeep. Those leaf bolts can be a pain.

They should work, but the ubolts stretch when they are mounted and tightened during install. They should be replaced and not reused.

Ubolts are cheap so I'd recommend new ones.

Never Reuse U Bolts, They stretch when first cinched down. IMO reusing U bolts let alone any bolt in your suspension is a dumb move. Quit being cheap and spend $35.00 on new u-bolts

If they are the factory stock ubolts you probabaly wont be able to get them apart to reuse anyway.

I dont know. I have read before to replace the u bolts. But when I removed mine they were in good shape. Real good if you ask me. And are holding just fine. Yes, if you have the money, you should replace them. At the time I was going to. Till I realized the old ones are perfectly fine. Now...I sprayed mine down many many times before disassembling. So I'm sure that helped. I'm not saying you don't need to replace your u bolts....what I am saying is if they are in good shape then they can be re used. I'm my case I reused them and so far so good. No problems. Not saying you wont have problems tho. I may have lucked out. But if funds are tight, and trust me I know, them reuse them. At least wire wheel the threads and put some antisieze on them. Then check them often....really often.

I get new ones at Delta Spring in Breslau. Find a transport and spring service company in your area. Delta has the blanks in stock and forms them while I wait. $8.50 each with the flat washers and tall nuts. Spray a little flat black paint and good to go. Qualtiy part and no worries.
